ABOUT
OJAS Studio is an independent jewellery project founded and curated by Olivia.
Created through a nomadic way of living, the studio has no permanent workshop. Each piece is shaped across changing landscapes, temporary spaces, and evolving environments — adapting to movement, territory, and circumstance.
Every piece is made by hand in small quantities or as a one-of-a-kind object.
The work combines traditional silversmithing techniques with lost wax carving and metal casting processes developed through experimentation and practice.
Rooted in ancient adornment, ritual objects, and raw natural forms, OJAS Studio explores quiet strength through sculptural jewellery.
My name is Olivia
I left my home country years ago and found myself drawn to Asia — its landscapes, its temples, its people, and the extraordinary variety of tribal and ancient traditions that exist across the region. India especially gave me something I hadn’t expected: a deep fascination with adornment as language, as identity, as ritual. I started silversmithing the way most things worth doing begin — on the floor of a small guesthouse, a tiny coffee table as my bench, sitting on my knees for hours. Cutting my hands. Burning them. Making mistakes. Loving every moment of it. Living between countries means my workshop has always been minimal — easy to pack, easy to move. India, Nepal, Thailand, Georgia. The work adapts to wherever I am. I don’t call myself a professional jeweler. Every time I sit at the bench, I learn something new.
